Unfortunately yeast infection occurs in many women and some men to different degrees.
The medical term for yeast infection is Candidiasis and it refers to an infection that occurs because of a microscopic fungi groups or yeast, and the numbers of species of Candida are thought to be about twenty. You will generally find the fungi living on the body’s surface and sometimes they can multiply to the extent that they make a person have infections and the most common areas on the body where such infections occur are in the moist as well as warm parts of the body. Probably, the most common form of yeast infection is the one that occurs in the vagina, thrush as well as on the skin while diaper rash and nailbed infections are also common.
Under The Armpits
So, the first place you should look for signs of yeast infection could be under the armpits and even though the body is quite adept at fighting off such infections, nevertheless sometimes a breakdown or cut in the body’s skin can allow for the penetration of such organisms. In the case of babies, yeast infection is commonly found in its mouth as well as in the area where diapers are tied, while oral yeast infection in adults is quite common especially with advancing age. Some of the areas where yeast infection occurs in adults include near the dentures, beneath the breast and also in the lower abdomen, nailbed as well as under the folds of skin.
One particular characteristic of yeast infection is that it can often only be temporary condition, and soon the infection can be cleared up with simple treatments, though in rare instances it can spread all over the body and if you have systemic yeast infection, there is a seventy-five percent chance of your dieing as a consequence of it. In fact, it has been seen that with mouth as well as vaginal yeast infection, there can be other very critical illnessnesses accompanying it which may also be hard to treat.
Care should be taken to take recurring instances of yeast infection seriously, because they could be a sign of some other very serious illness including diabetes and also leukemia and worse still, it could also point in the direction of AIDS. However, if given proper treatment, yeast infection will normally disappear without need for any further steps or treatment and instances of vaginal, thrush and even diaper rash require barely one or two weeks to disappear, though if you have a weak immune system, the problem can resurface any time and may prove to be hard to treat.
Your doctor will guide you as to the best treatment for your yeast infection but it is highly recommended that you revisit your doctor should symptoms persist.

Typically a candida infection will occur in warm, moist areas of the body such as the vagina and underarms. Most of the time the skin will effectively block yeast, although sometimes if there is any breakdown or cuts in the skin then the organism may be able to penetrate the skin. For babies the area that is most affect by yeast infection on skin is typically the mouth and diaper areas.
For adults an oral yeast infection will become more likely as their age increases. It is also possible to have yeast infections around dentures, under the breast and lower abdomen, in the nail beds of the fingers and toes, as well as beneath skin folds. Often a yeast infection on skin is superficial and can be easily cleared up with treatment.
For women the second most common cause of vaginal burning, itching and discharge is a yeast infection. Most women have yeast in the vagina area and if a change in the vagina environment occurs then an overgrowth of yeast can happen. The most common causes of yeast overgrowth includes antibiotic and steroid use. A developing yeast infection can also be caused by pregnancy, menstruation, sperm, diabetes and birth control pills. After menopause yeast infections become more common.
Symptoms
Depending on the location of a candida infection there will be varying symptoms. A yeast infection of skin will typically occur when there is a breakdown of the outer layers of skin which promotes the yeast’s overgrowth. It will then spread when the environment is warm and moist, such as places of skin folds and diaper areas. The yeast infection on skin will appear as a red flat rash with sharp scalloped edges. A similar-appearing rash may appear in smaller patches called satellite lesions or satellite pustules that are found near the main rash. The yeast infection on skin will cause the rashes to become itchy and possibly painful. In the areas of skin folds the yeast infection on skin is known as Intertrigo and will appear as softened red skin. If the yeast infection on skin gets into the nail beds then it will cause swelling.
Treatment
When it comes to yeast infection on skin the treatment is typically to use over the counter nystatin powders such as Mycostatin, Nilstat, Nystat-Rx, Nystex, O-V and Staticin. Other treatment options include antifungal creams and lotions. If your rash worsens at any time or if you develop lesions then you should seek medical attention. In addition, you should notify you doctor if the rash doesn’t clear up with treatment in one to two weeks. Signs of more serious illness include fever, chills, nausea, vomiting or the spreading of the rash to other areas of the body.

Yeast infection is a condition that can annoy any woman that is affected by it, and it is usually caused by Candida Albicans which is a fungus that is sure to pop up sometime or the other in the life of a woman though in fewer numbers than one might expect. The good news is that, given proper treatment, this disease can be properly treated and the symptoms will generally be reduced and even made to disappear. If you are a woman with discomfort in the vaginal region or there is discharge in the vaginal region that is quite abnormal, you should consult a doctor who might prescribe you with a Diflucan yeast infection dosage to cure your problem if it happens to be yeast infection.
See Off Symptoms
With the proper Diflucan yeast infection dosage, it is possible to see off the symptoms and be free of yeast infection in as few as two weeks at most, and with the right treatment, this may even be possible in a shorter time period that could in some cases be as little as just a couple of days or so. Normally, you may be recommended just a single Diflucan yeast infection dosage which should be sufficient though it should not be taken in while expecting a child. In addition, Diflucan yeast infection dosage should work well for you, and in the proper dosage and for the prescribed duration, it proves it very safe and it is also possible to obtain it in as an over-the-counter medication.
Doctors will usually prescribe Diflucan yeast infection dosage as a single oral dose of one hundred and fifty milligrams for vaginal candidiasis, or yeast infection as it is known to the ordinary person. However, sometimes it may be required to be taken in multiple dosages and because a single oral absorption of Diflucan yeast infection dosage is quite rapid and almost complete, the daily dose could be the same as is the case with tablets and also suspension and even the same as intravenous administration. In other cases, there can be a loading dose which needs to be twice that of the daily single dose especially on the first day so that there are concentrations of plasma and steady state on the second day of treatment is achieved.
The bottom line is that Diflucan yeast infection dosage must be continued with until such time as the medical parameters or tests in the laboratory show that the fungal infection is no longer active and has in fact subsided; otherwise, it could lead to a recurrence of the yeast infection.
